I love my MacBook, but its clean, sleek white case was lacking a bit of personality. Sure, I could get a fancy vinyl skin or some flashy decals for it, but I was struck with a sudden, simple, crafty impulse. Here is the result of that inspiration. I love it! Now, it needs a name. What do you think?

He’s just way too cute!!! I decorated my laptop with Dallas Cowboys Stickers and the top has a big star but no googly eyes. Maybe i should give the star eyes too lol.

WOW, you are all very creative with your name suggestions! At first, I was thinking of girls’ names, but I must say that now I’m leaning toward “Walken,” because I LOVE that sketch from Saturday Night Live. @Athena, thanks for reminding me. Christopher Walken is so funny when he does comedy. Something about his deadpan delivery, and the way he looks so serious, even when he’s saying funny stuff. And the googly eyes on houseplants thing makes me laugh every time I watch it!
While I am not a big fan of Macs I love the mod to the Apple logo *hehe* they should hire you as their creative director hehe.

Yes, MacGoogle is cute, except… I can’t bring myself to name my very special computer anything with “Google” in it. I’m weird. Hubby suggested Mac-a-noonie, which is how our 3 year old daughter says “macaroni.”

When I stumbled across the GOOGLEY-EYE gardener this past summer(2008), I sent all of my Cactus and Succulent friends the video clip. Being a CACTOPHILE and WALKENOPHILE, I was in seventh heaven. The SNL skit is (to say the VERY least)–HILARIOUS!!! Walken is a horrific-terrific comedian! If you can find these movies at your local BLOCKBUSTERs, rent them. They will give you an idea of the variety of talents this fabulous actor has. A sample list: UNDERTAKING BETTY (aka–Plots With A View) [2002], SCOTLAND, PA [2001], BLAST FROM THE PAST [1999], ILLUMINATA [1998], BUSINESS AFFAIR [1994], to name a few lesser known movies. Enjoy!!!
