I was always reading something different, but finally, I told her to give me the first one and I'd start on it. I had it finished in 2 days.. now that's no time record of course, but you know, being a mom.. that's really no easy feat and many other things get put to the way-side... I was in the last few pages and she handed me the second book.. and as I was finishing up book two, she finished re-reading book 3 and handed it to me. It took me all of 6 days to read the 3 books.. and while I cannot wait for *my* Man in Brown to deliver the 4th book (and my daughter to read it first), I am also kind of glad for the breather! It's been a long time that a book (series) has grabbed me so fast and deeply.. I love that it's a simple read too.. Love the characters.. Oh.. and your bracelet is great! Did you put it on etsy? It might contain all the best stuff, but I'm sure they're saving some for the actual movie! :-) @Jennifer: I read your post, and I can imagine the books are providing opportunities for moms and girls to talk about stuff. My daughter is only three, so we're not there yet. @Almost: It's more of a teen/young adult story. It's a fantasy/adventure/romance, but it's pretty chaste.
