I don’t really enjoy shopping (my husband loves that about me), but I am mildly addicted to buying things online. For most of my books, music, and movies, I use Amazon.com. I have their Prime shipping subscription, so I can almost convince myself that 2-day shipping is “free.”
After seeing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I thought it might be fun to go back and watch the previous Indiana Jones movies. The kids are excited about the Indiana Jones Lego game, even though they’ve never seen the movies, and they think Indiana Jones is a completely new character. Does that make you feel old?
But then, I realized we don’t own the Indiana Jones movies! Not even on VHS! So, as a Father’s Day gift for Hubby, I ordered the trio of DVDs from Amazon. And the package tracker at UPS says my Man In Brown will be delivering them today!
I haven’t seen them in so long, I’m excited to watch them again and find out whether they’re as great as I remember them being. I remember how scary it seemed at the end of Raiders when the bad guys got their faces melted off. I could hardly look! Yes, I’m a big scaredy-cat.
WELCOME! I can't teach you how to monetize your blog, but I can offer you some mostly intelligent conversation, moderately geeky tech talk, very funny mom stories, with the occasional rant thrown in for sanity. I'm so glad you're here!

LOL I nearly bought Mr. Aerten the set too! I’ll probably break down and order it as a 4th of July present. (Yeah, I have the Prime membership, too. Whatever did I do when I had to wait 3-5 days for something to arrive???)

If we didn’t already have the box set that would be one awesome Fathers day present. I wasn’t overly impressed with the new movie but the older ones are still classics and my 3 year old son loves them and has just got the logo game for the Nintendo DS. ;o) Happy Viewing.
Oooh, I bought this set a couple of months ago for me! The old ones are certainly the best, and I’m going to make my nephews watch them too
