With your interest and fine work with beads I wondered if you had ever encountered the stuff from Cracker Box in Pennsylvania.
Their website is http://www.crackerboxkits.com. Many of my craftier friends have huge collections of their Christmas ornaments .
I did StarGaze years ago and it just about drove me insane - but I am not a crafty type person.

If you ever get to Bucks County, Pennsylvania I recommend a stop in their store. Its near Washington’s Crossing and New Hope so not far off the tourist path. The place is owned and operated by a couple of darling old queens. And I mean that with all the affection in the world. If you are there long enough they can tell you how they designed each item and what inspired each feature. And if you are extra lucky they will argue about something related to an ornament. You have not lived until you have experienced these guys bickering animatedly.
