Here is a quick laugh I had to share. I’ve had this saved for years because it’s one of my favorite comics of all time. In case you don’t get it in your paper, it’s called Get Fuzzy. I’m sorry the image is kind of small, but it’s the best I have, and this is no longer available on the Get Fuzzy archives. I’ll put the text underneath it, in case you can’t quite read it. It’s hilarious!

Yes, they are talking about US television shows, but the names have been changed to pet-relevant ones. Flea Factor = Fear Factor; Paw and Odor = Law and Order; Wheel of Vermin = Wheel of Fortune. Then they choose Wheel of Vermin, where the contestants guess letters to figure out the phrase. In Wheel of Fortune (the real show), they can “buy a vowel,” but on Wheel of Vermin, they can “buy a vole,” and a vole is a kind of vermin. I guess it wouldn’t make sense if you weren’t familiar with the tv shows. Sorry.
I haven’t seen Get Fuzzy since I quit reading the paper offline. That’s great! I’ll have to visit the site now.
